Our October collection spotlight is Animalfolk Miniatures: a selection of otter, mouse, owl, bear, cat and fox characters for fantasy tables and painting projects. These are existing catalog designs brought together for easier browsing.
Animalfolk give you a visual starting point for a character, while leaving plenty of room to choose a personality, background and role in your own game.
Three character ideas from the collection
The Otter Folk Paladin by Naga Minis could become the earnest protector of a riverside settlement or a traveler trying to keep an awkward promise. It is sold as one miniature, with a choice of scale and base.
The two-piece Owl Folk Cleric set by Naga Minis suggests another direction: two keepers of a woodland shrine, or a mentor and apprentice who disagree about how to help the party. Read the listing for the two sculpts and available base choices.
The Cat Bard by Naga Minis offers a seated musician for a tavern, a traveling performance or a small character display. A bard might have the rumor the group needs, but insist on hearing their story first.
Those are story prompts to adapt, rather than fixed character backgrounds or game rules supplied with the models.
Plan a shared look without making everyone identical
A repeated accent color or similar ground texture can bring different characters together. You can still vary fur, feathers, clothing and equipment so each figure has a distinct identity. Our color scheme guide helps turn that idea into a small painting plan.
Choose the version that fits your project
Check scale, model count and base options on each product page. A shared scale label does not mean every creature has the same overall height. Selected separate bases require assembly, and pictured scenery is not automatically included.
These are physical, unpainted prints. The Otter Folk Paladin specifically arrives unprimed as well. Browse the collection, choose a character you want to paint or play, and check the contents before adding it to your cart.
